McDonough for Baltimore County Executive
Save Baltimore County
The people of Baltimore County deserve to be safe at home, on the street, and in school. The current administration has stripped this away with anti-police laws, tax hikes, and poor leadership. I have spent my entire career serving Maryland and supporting its leaders. With my experience and desire to create a change for the better, I am running for Baltimore County Executive.
It’s time to correct the Olszewski administration’s mistakes. It’s time to Save Our County!
Vote for Pat McDonough as Baltimore County Executive on November 8, 2022.

Pat’s Priorities
My top priority is to fix what Johnny Olszewski and his administration have ruined. Below are examples of when Mr. Olszewski has let the people of Baltimore County down and my plan to turn it around.
Crime
Johnny’s Mistake: During the Olszewski administration, Baltimore County experienced the highest number of murders in its history! Olszewski is anti-police and soft on public safety. Mr. Olszewski defunded the police by passing a budget with an eight percent increase, while the police received less than a two percent increase. He also passed six anti-police laws making it more difficult for them to do their jobs and protect our communities.
Pat’s Response: I will impose a zero-tolerance policy, including public nuisance problems. Due to low morale and low funding, the police are short 250 employees in necessary positions and 500 standby retirement employees. As County Executive, I will encourage the retired police officers to return to service part-time and help the county. I will create the best force in the nation by recruiting and retaining professional officers and designing the best training and benefits package, including a county-wide “Citizens on Patrol Program.”
Sanctuary Policies And Illegal Immigration
Johnny’s Mistake: Olszewski has created a sanctuary county and pro-illegal migrants policy. Along with a decrease in police and public safety measures, this has made Baltimore County a dangerous place to reside.
Pat’s Response: I will abolish all sanctuary policies and pro-illegal migrant programs. The safety of our community comes first!
75 Year High Taxes
Pat’s Response: I will not pass any tax increases during my administration. This may be our last chance to save our county from the radical policies of John Olszewski and his “Tax and Spend” left-wing advisors. Four more years of Mr. Olszewski’s administration will make Baltimore County a disaster. I am running for Baltimore County Executive to inform our fellow citizens and promote a “Save Our County” movement.
Failing Schools
Pat’s Response: As County Executive, I will be responsible for the education budget. I will use that influence to remove Superintendent Williams and replace him with an education leader who will be responsive to the parents and community. I will end this reckless policy immediately with strict discipline and enforcement. The Board of Education operates in secret and refuses to respond to parents while creating curriculums such as CRT and sexual training for children. I will create the “Education Advocate” office and pass a “Baltimore County Parent’s Bill of Rights” law mandating the Board to be open and communicate with the parents. I will encourage creating additional charter schools, private academies, vocational training, and homeschooling.

Johnny’s Mistake: allowing violence to run our streets and cause good citizens to flee
Pat’s Response: “Pat’s got a vision” make Baltimore country a homeowner county versus renting

Save Our County
The people of Baltimore County have the opportunity to make a national statement to America. In our hometown of Baltimore County, we can show the nation through an “election upset” that we believe in America first, freedom, and smart local government. Plus, we can Save Our County!
I know my job and my obligation as County Executive to the people. As the county’s highest elected official, I must be the trusted caretaker of the people’s tax money, protect the neighborhoods, educate our children, and make the county a safe place to live and work. I pledge not to allow Baltimore County to become another failure like Baltimore City.
Together, we can elect a new County Executive and make the Save Our County movement a success! We will address many other issues as we proceed in this election. More information will be provided in the future. Thank you for your support!
